RESINS - CPE resins are elastomeric materials composed of a HDPE backbone
with 25-42% chlorine content. Key characteristics are heat, oil and ignition resistance, making them effective base resins for many W&C applications,
especially jacketing. Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) increases with chlorine content.
COMPOUNDS - CPE compounds are formulated with additives and fillers to tailor performance for demanding W&C applications, especially jacketing for
tray cable and shipyard cable. Thermoplastic CPE compounds can be run on standard extrusion equipment.

DCSH21A is a thermoplastic jacket compound providing an excellent balance of properties: fire retardancy, wear resistance, tear resistance,
cold temperature resistance, weathering resistance and excellent mechanical properties. It is equivalent to ST2 type thermoplastic jacket according to
IEC 60092-359 Standard for Flame Retardant Thermoplastic Jacket Compound and meets UL1581-2001 Standard. With its excellent extruded surface, and lower
density, DCSH21A is the ideal substitute for fire retardant & heat-resistant PVC and related products. It is available in Black or Natural color.
DCSH21A is mainly used as the jacket material for CATV cable, power limiting electric circuit cable, power limiting warning electric circuit cable, etc.
It can also be used as the jacket material of shipyard electrical cable and control cable under the temperature of 85°C. |
